On the recommendation of a friend, I flew to Spain in 2014 as an intern to Leonie. At that time I still had the dream to buy a big warm-blooded horse one day. But very quickly the “pearls” enchanted me. During the four months I spent on La Perla in 2014, I was thrilled with the clear mind of the young stallions I was allowed to work with. For me, these horses are the epitome of tamed fire. They have an incredible will to work and also the necessary energy. Despite the large amount of energy, the horses always use the energy for their human being and not against him.
It was clear: At some point a pearl must come to me in Carinthia.
Already in the summer of 2014 I fell in love with a foal, on the dreamy pastures in the Spanish sun. A beautiful dark chesnut named Janeiro (son of Quod and Alzira). Unfortunately, I was not able to buy this foal this year.
In the summer of 2015, on my next visit to La Perla, I met Janeiro. I still felt the same connection and now it was time: I was in possession. During this stay, a second yearling was keen to come along as a playmate for Janeiro: Jaguar (son of Vibrante da Broa and Alcaparra). Two pearls travelled to Carinthia.
They are both incredible.
In 2019 I visited La Perla again. At the auction I became a repeat offender and the third pearl passed into my possession: Letrado (born 2015, son of Flamenco and Aguia).
Letrado Letrado Letrado
I myself am a trainer and work according to academic principles. The pearls are ideal for this work and they have given me so many wonderful moments. They learn incredibly fast, are extremely related to me, are always trying to do everything right and they have extremely good nerves and a clear head.
What does a rider’s heart want more <3.
