In summer 2019 I went to Spain to Leonie and the wonderful pearls because of an internship. Buy a horse? Never! But then I started working with the newly gelded 4 year old Lituano (Xinfrim x Xibata) and he slowly crept into my heart, 2 1/2 months later the decision was made and I was allowed to call the little chestnut mine.
So that’s how I ended up with my pearl. My La Perla journey did not end with the end of my internship but continued and so I packed my seven things and my pony mare and moved to Spain. Now I have the incredible luck to work with the unbelievable pearls every day for 1 1/2 years and to call La Perla my home.
In mid-April 2021, a “half” pearl will join my horse family. My pony mare Penny is pregnant from the stallion Vibrante da Broa. Because of me, it can’t go fast enough until the little one finally hatches.
